Loving it. Thank you Samsung. Have been waiting for so many years for this features. I can uninstall some free apps (I hate ads).

@ arnehelseth, I have no problem. The only different is I don't use email address to login to MSA. I use user profile name, Alec. See my screenshot. Also, my Win10 is up-to-date too.

@Tallman, as I am using a MSA (Microsoft Account) the username formatting is correct and you have to use the domain part of it. Although I have also tried the local shortened uname.

How do you login using only a username, do you perhaps have a local account setup as well?

@arnehelseth, yes, I have local account setip as well. I setup local account first, then swotch to MSA. Maybe this is the different from you? I don't have domain server at home, never need to use domain name for login.

Yeah, thats the difference. So, youre not really logging in using your MSA, youre logging in using the older local account. So, from that I take it MSA logins are simply not implemented using the Samsung Network Storage solution. Back to a third party app I go.

To Samsung, please fix. Oh, and why I bother asking you to fix anything is beyond me really, I own enough Samsung products from washers, fridges to tvs, printers and phones to know that you NEVER fix anything without releasing a new product we need to pony up for. Geez.

Which device you are using? What version is your My Files app?

I'm having the exact same problem. Third party app works perfectly but my files just wont work. I already tried clearing cache and forcing stop nad checking if smb2 is enabled on my laptop, but since it works with other apps, than im sure its a problem with samsung files. Can anyone help?
