Galaxy Notesame here, solid explorer works perfectly against a Windows server, yet My files with network storage cannot connect using the same domain credentials I use for Solid Explorer. I keep getting the "cannot connect, check... " message. Is there a syntax for username? such as domain\username (that doesn't work either) but maybe something else???

Galaxy NoteI'm having the same issue.
Just installed Network Storage element to My Files, selected SMB Share, it found two, selected the one I wanted: IP, Port and Display Name automatically populated. Entered domain username and password (as per FX File Explorer, but I also tried Domain\User), but keep getting the same error almost instantly.
Also tried changing the Address to be the Hostname instead of IP (as per FX), but that didn't make any difference.
FX File Explorer worked fine straight away:
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy to provide any more info if needed.

Galaxy NoteHi AubsUK,
Please use the link to generate the error report from the Samsung Members app so that our team can review the Log Files and will get back to you.
In step 5, please select "Application" category.
In step 6, Please check "send the system log data".

Galaxy NoteWas there any resolution to this? I'm having the same issue as @AubsUK. 3rd-party app connects successfully to Windows SMB folders, whereas Samsung My Files App shows "Can't connect".

Galaxy NoteNever mind. It worked after I stopped the app (force stop) and cleared cache and app data. Then, I relaunched the app and it connected successfully.
Thanks.

Galaxy NoteI'm also having this issue. I already force stop the app and cleared cache and app data and I'm still getting the same error. Please advise.

Galaxy Note- The same issue is with WDTV. It doesn't demand and have no option for username and password, surprisingly alsoialso is not possible to connect as Anonymous/Guest to My Files Networks Storage.
- Third party applications work perfect.
