Hi there fellow Samsung users. I got the Note 20 Ultra a few days ago and was wondering if anybody has noticed any issues with their battery draining/dying quicker. Compared to the Note10+ the battery here is a lot less robust. And before anyone says i have been using my phone a lot more, hence the battery drain,  that's not the case.
Has anyone encountered this issue?

Screenshot_20200822-143032_YouTube.jpgHi

on all device, it's normal than the battery is drain faster atthe beginning. To get the best result, please Enable Adaptative battery AND Adaptative frequency...in less than a week, everything will became normal and as good as your Note10+

You can also expect a little less battery life than the 10+ with 120hz refresh rate

I don't use the adaptive refresh rate for that reason.

I'd love to see some technical insight on this. I suppose the result will vary depending on the device use and habits. Theoretically there could be some opportunity to increase battery life using adaptive 120, this because it will scale down refresh as low as 10hz depending on what the user is doing. When you are locked at 60hz, you are locked at 60hz.

So I guess it depends on the efficiency of how adaptive is programmed to respond.

Id enjoy to examine how this is specifically mapped out.

Thus far, the only thing I've been able to find is that device deploys 120hz on screen scrolling. Im not sure what frame rate is used for Netflix, or YouTube.... or how quickly does it throttle down after screen scroll, and what does it throttle down to?

I use the device heavily, and feel like I'm getting more life out of N20U as opposed to N10+.

My charging habits are scattered with frequent top ups on wireless pads, or in the car. So tough to measure for me.

Yesterday I only did one small top up after work, not because needed, but because driving.

Overall I'm impressed with the result thus far. I only use adaptive.
