Thinking of buying the note 9 but don't know if it's worth upgrading from my s8? Should I get it or stay with my s8

All depends on your needs as hands down the note 9 is the top of the tree when it comes to multi tasking and being able to use your device for pc work plus the use of the SPen...
if you don't need those things I would wait till the S10 is released which should be around march to hit a store shelf near you..

If you need to use SPen buy it and if not then S8 is still best phone.

I had the s8+ until about a month ago when I upgraded to the note 9. It was definitely worth the upgrade. As expected the note 9 beats the s8+ in every possible way. I even got 8 hours of screen on time over the Christmas break while I was binge watching a season of the Sopranos

The N9 is a sizable upgrade, though your S8 is still recent.

Did you see the Galaxy A8s? Can you tolerate the punch-hole in the display? If so, the S10/N10 will be a much greater upgrade.

If you can't bear it like me, go for the Note9.

I bought my wife the s9+, and myself the note 9. I can tell you it's still a big difference. the spen, the battery sot, some apps has more options i.e good lock 2018 doesn't have navstar or multistar. the system option has way more options as well. I manage all settings and ui for her phone and mine and although quite similar there's very noticeable difference that's worth it on the note 9. the s10 will be a lot pricier and if you can avoid being distracted by the ugly pinhole, bezel-less phone with edge that's prone to cracks and a hard time to hold it in landscape mode to game....

Note 9 is the device to go to if you want productivity as a businessperson. Fir me having DeX built in and the functionality of the S Pen makes it all worth it. Had the S8+ but returned to using a Note.
