Galaxy Note
After adding an EAS account to Samsung email app, each time I close the screen of my phone I need to unlock with pin or fingerprint.
The EAS policy permit to keep the phone unlock for 60 minutes idle before requiring to unlock.
it is a bug in Samsung email app or Android 7

Exchange ActiveSync, or just your regular Microsoft/Office365 account.
I have no clue for that, my Exchange ActiveSync accounts do not enforce that and I do not have these issues

Hey @stgauvin! Could you check if the security setting has been changed after you have added an email?
From Settings > Lock screen and security > Secure lock settings, then check if "Lock automatically" is set to be "Immediately" and test it?
Also, you could disable device administrator role from the app / account from Settings > Lock screen and security > Other security settings > Device administrators.
Could you please try the above two and send us feedback if it still gives error? Thanks!
