Well after the long awaited OS Update & After the beta testing - There's some problems! Battery Drain issues. Reboot Issues. Some people are seriously unhappy.

Here's a link to some of the issues:

Thought I was talking about One UI right?
WRONG - I'm talking about the Oreo Update!!
Seems that people always find fault with every single OS update!
Now I'm not saying that One UI is perfect - But take a moment and remind yourself that SOME people were unhappy & unable to adapt.

How about the Update to Nougat?
Well - SURPRISE! Some people were complaining about the "washed out icons" and other issues..

I could post links to complaints about every single OS update going back to the first Android version update & You would see the exact same reaction from SOME people! 🐧

I should also point out that these complaints are not limited to Samsung devices - So love or hate Samsung - It's not a Samsung phenomenon - It's people who just don't like change... and that's kind of sad.

Get a Grip & Learn what's Great about One UI!

I personally just go with the flow, seeing as how there's nothing you can do. It's been released, that's that. I'm still running Oreo on my S7. I imagine the Pie update won't be very different. I loved nougat, I love oreo, and I know I'll love pie!

My second Samsung Phone and Android. My work phone is still an iPhone, got to says I really liked One UI. I dont know bc I dont use all the functions but every update I'm pretty happy with it, specially One UI. Waited long for it to come out for s8, but it's worth the wait. Now looking forward to own a s10 in couple of weeks.

Or maybe when an update happens and you have apps that stops working and your phone keeps restarting, then maybe it is the update. When there are Major updates every other month, Nougat Oreo Pie (One), and your S3 mini running android 4.4 is more stable than your J3 Prime running 8.1 running the same apps, I am confident in my statement that something has €Β₯β‚©$ up this time. Microsoft, Google, Samsung, Android and Intel are not putting the effort into testing their product. The amount of code needed for a simple process, app or service has ballooned to the point whereby it can not be trusted. I owned my own business in automation when computers went from 16 bit to 32 bit, I was programming in assembly code, MOV, AX BX ect., using DOS 5.11 (did not use windows until 98 update 3 and then only to have two monitors with DOS windows) I knew that my programs would not have a problem with 32 bit. A lot of other OEMs had a lot of problems because they programmed with windows subroutines in Visual something that they relied on a undocumented result or register condition.
What I am trying to say is that with so many versions of Android, Carriers requirements, phone types, phone manufacturers, advancement in hardware there is no time to test the machine code, just reuse the subroutines and hope that they will not have any problems.

I'm running one UI on my Note 8 and it's been wonderful. Runs smoother. Battery drain is a little more, but not drastic. So far so good.

I love new updates.. I enjoy most of the new features, but will admit with this new update my battery drain has become a issue which is driving me nuts πŸ€ͺ

Did you at least Boot into Recovery and Wipe Cache? If you are still having Battery issues - Then you might want to Factory Reset - If you do - Remember to Backup your device with Smart Switch & move or copy everything you need or want to your external sd card or computer - The Battery life on my S8+ was at least as good on One UI as it was on Oreo 🐧

Yup I've d one the cache a couple times.. I've gone through all setting to make sure nothing is running.... I'm going to maybe have to do factory reset because my battery is definitely draining faster then it use to...
