Galaxy S
Hey everyone, so I'm kicking it old school here with the S7 (too broke to upgrade.. Thanks life!) Lately I've been having some... hacker/scammer/hijacker/theif.. fraud problems, from my email address to my bank account and many things in between. Now today I've learned that Galaxy Store is sending out my personal information and because of my bank account fraud, i stand a decently high risk of identity theft. Is anyone else having this risky problem?

no because I haven't fallen for any of the scam text msgs, phone calls or emails. for your bank app you can try to install it in my knox/secure folder which has built in encryption which can help against other apps or programs trying to spy on you. as for the galaxy store giving out your personal info I can't really say either way. as for the play store they use some info for targeting ads for you. but I think Samsung just released another security patch for the S7 even after samsung officially dropped support for the S7. so you shouldn't be to far off for security patches. but yes you should upgrade ASAP.

Galaxy SCould you confirm if you recently downloaded any third-party app? Let's try to scan if there were any security threats. Please follow the path: Settings >> Device Care >> Tap on Security >> Tap on Scan now and check if there are any security issues.
