No matter what I do, I cannot get the camera to focus when I open it. Even in video mode, it doesn't focus. Ever since the update, I've been having problems. I know I've posted about this before, just curious if anyone else has had the problem. Galaxy S9
Thanks
Kim

I saw your previous post. It was just a security update, have you try Wipe Cache Partition?

Hi kahlua67, Please try performing the wipe cache partition as suggested by Tallman and get back to us with the results.

I'd suggest to try without the case if you got one installed. Also, try cleaning the lens with soft micro fiber cloth, or try tapping on to the subject you want to focus. Did you use the camera from extreme cold weather to warm room inside? Because that can cause fog inside.

I've never had a problem,up until about 2 months ago, after an update.. I've tried tapping on the subject, cleaning the lens, everything.

But, I do see a focused photo in gallery button next(left side) to record button. Is it a photo taken with the same phone? If that came out focused then others should come out focused too.

I wonder too. Her screenshot was using Selfie video, front camera. Maybe screen protector blocking front camera?

It's a she, not he...lol. But yeah, sometimes screen protectors world do that. That's why It's advised to spend good amount of money for a good protector.
