Contacts keep moving to trash without me deleting them

Hi

My contacts gets deleted and appear in trash. When I went to trash I recover them but again and again it gets deleted some of them not all of them. 

I don't know why because I don't even deleting it myself it gets deleted it self auto. 

Could someone please help if anyone experience the same it is so frustrating. I have to keep saving contacts again and again and even most of my contacts got deleted and it didn't go to trash. 😔

I have the same problem on my Galaxy A34 5G. I first noticed it when my wife's call appeared as a new number in the call list. When I moved to my deleted contacts folder I found that there were almost 30 contacts there. Checking the details of each of them I saw that these numbers were deleted from the Viber app. So from System Settings -> Apps -> Viber I cancelled the Viber permission on my contacts. Also an additional step was to go from my contacts folder -> contact management -> merge duplicate contacts. I found that many of the constantly deleted contacts were in this list.

Till now everything is back to normal...

I bought my Samsung Galaxy A50 more than 3 yrs ago. But only encountered the same exact problem this week. 

Upon checking my deleted contacts folder, I found around 10 contacts there. The contacts were also deleted from the viber app. 

I tried cancelling viber permission to my contacts as you suggested and see if it works.
