Could someone please help if anyone experience the same it is so frustrating. I have to keep saving contacts again and again and even most of my contacts got deleted and it didn't go to trash. 😔
Please help.

I have my Contacts synced & saved to my Google account, and have never, ever lost them.

Check in your Contacts to see where they saved. If it's to the SIM or Phone, move them to your Google Account.

Hello, same problem here. the only thing that I notice is that the contact group that get flagged and moved to the Trash bin are those that were exported from an Iphone though Google. I noticed that they get moved when synchronization is run automatically. it happened to me, again, today at 5:20 AM. I cannot see where I can change or modify the synchronization settings. At lease I can also see that it has nothing to do with firmware update. Samsung needs to fix this. What I am doing now, is every time I add a new contact, I exported the file to ensure that I so not loose it ever.

Do you have your Contacts synced with your Google Account?

For the last 13-14 years, I have never once had any of my Contacts get "binned".

Plz delete all the access you given to the app and to your Google account.
That is the only reason contacts are bring deleted
I found solution
There been couple accounta websites that I given permission to access my Google account and that is why they have been accessing my Google account and then my contacts in my Google drive and deleting them

I'm having the same issue. Contacts are saved to Google. No apps have access it says they are being deleted by Samsung. I have 3 Samsung devices. Note 10+, S24 Ultra, and Z fold 6. It happens on all of them. And it happens every few weeks even when I restore, merge duplicates, and resync to Google. Definitely a Samsung issue that they won't admit to (even when shown screenshots that its Samsung accessing and deleting the contacts) because I've contacted them about this issue twice already. ALSO just to be safe I logged into my Google account on Windows and checked my contact syncing information to make sure they (the 3 phones) weren't trying to sync over each other and causing the problem.

It is ABSOLUTELY NOT a Samsung problem!

I have NEVER, EVER lost a SINGLE Contact on ANY of my Samsung devices.. ever!

There's clearly something wrong, somewhere else that is causing your issue.

I did find a work around. Download Google contacts and Phone by Google. Set them as your defaults and block Samsungs contact app from being able to access contacts

You shouldn't have to do that.

I have always just used Samsung's Contacts & Dialer... and when I say "always", since 2011.

Hello saboorfm and trust you are doing well,

I, too, have been in this situation for over four years now and I just (today) found a solution by tinkering... Here's what I did that worked:

I turned off active sync. Go to quick menu (swipe down from your home screen) and uncheck sync.

Then go to settings > *in the search bar search for "Google Contacts sync" > *click "Also sync device contacts" and "Automatically back up and sync device contacts" then choose your preferred backup google account

Also Click on "Status" and check "Google Contacts sync"

After this, I moved all my contacts to my phone:

Open Contacts > click on the top-left burger sign > then click on "Manage contacts" > click on Move contacts > choose account you have your contacts > check all and move to your phone

When done, then you can turn on auto sync again.

Some contacts might be duplicated so you just merge using same process under "Manage Contacts"

And that's it. This did the trick for me. I can't really remember the order I implemented the steps above but since you backed up your contacts in the first step, I guess you can tinker also, and I hope this helps. Enjoy...
