Facebook Messenger notifications opening in pop-up view

I just got the new S22 and whenever I get notifications from Facebook Messenger whenever I click on the banner notification, instead of opening the full app it opens a small windowed pop-up version of the app. I'm not sure where in settings it would be to change this. I don't use chat head bubbles

Try this:

Open Settings -> Notifications -> Advanced settings -> Floating notification

Set to off. See if this help.
