I did a factory reset on my phone a week ago, now my play store is stuck on the July update.
I try to manually update through the phone settings and on the play store settings and both say it's up to date .
Is there a way to force it ?

Download the APK and they install that manually.

Is there a specific APK for Samsung or are they all the same?

You can try Clearing BOTH Cache & Data for the Play Store & Reboot.

Go to Settings > Apps Search for Play Store & Scroll down to Storage & Clear Both Cache & Data.

As far as I know, this is the latest version of the Play Store.

But are you talking about Google Play Services?

I think that you're talking about Play Services, not the Play Store.. right?

I don't see any date on the Play Store, just a version number.

Play Services does have a date, and the updates come from Google..

I'm not sure how you could force an update, would have thought that a Factory Reset might have done it.

I know that Google has been slow to push Play Services updates for some devices.

I had the same problem after I did the factory reset. You need to revert to Android 13, do all the patch updates up to October, then upgrade to Android 14.

NO - you don't have to revert to anything.. Play Services will eventually update.

Using Odin 3. If you don't know how to downgrade, search YouTube
