how can i use tve TOF feature on a samsung s20 ultra

Hey i have  seen that their  is  a  TOF sensor festure  build in to rhe  samsung s20 ultra  camera.

I would love  to know  how  i could use  this

You can't use it manually. It's here to assist the other sensors with depth information. There are apps that let you use them on their own but they're not of much use this way. the reason i ask i saw a video on a samsung forum page when i was looking for a lens protection and he use it for measuring his bath

Well for that, you need an app like AR Measure. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.tango.measure

If that's not what you were looking for, this should at least be a good starting point to find the right app.

Samsung has the built-in app, Quick Measure, that you can use for ToF. I use a lot when I am in IKEA 😅. Just get the approximate dimensions...

Adding to what CHMultimedia already mentioned, The ToF feature in Camera is used with Live focus video and Quick Measure, letting you add more creative flair and get information in a way you've never seen before.

In the case of Live focus video, you're now able to blur out the background in real time as you take a video, adding a brand new vibe to your movies. You can even swap between foreground and background focus with ease, to switch up the focus with a tap. Live focus video is available on both the front and rear cameras, so simply open the Camera app and swipe to Live focus video to try your hand at movie direction.

With Quick Measure, the camera acts as a 3D camera, judging width, height, area, volume, and more when you put an object in frame. Quick Measure is a preloaded app, so open it up and put an object in focus to get a real-time measurement right on your screen.
