How can I view these files from my old phone? The galaxy store has nothing and the details don't mention any specific file type to try and search the play store...

I can relate to your issue. I was sent via email some documents in a .bin format. My phone gave me an error message that said I don't have any apps which could open that type of file. I found some apps on the play store to try to open the .bin files. I installed them on to the phone and none of them worked so I uninstalled them.

Looks like they are from an LG device.

Do you know what the files are?

They don't look like they are in any image format.

A couple of things that you could try:

Transfer them to your computer & see if you can find something that will convert them into jpeg or similar.

If you have a friend who has an LG, send them to them & ask them to open them, unless of course you still have the LG device.

*IF* they are image files (doubtful) they may be (second one anyway) encrypted?

But they really don't look like any image format I've ever seen.

Hi, as suggested by RedDogRabbit please transfer the files into PC and try to send them to any other device and verify if you are able to open them. Thank you for your steps RedDogRabbit and Jayman1973.

The OP thinks that they are image files, but it doesn't look like it to me. They are both LG format files, other than that?

Yeah, they could be image files but without knowing what's on the other side of the
"." it's just a shot in the dark.
