How to make YouTube play on background of Samsung S23 ultra!

I like to walk alot and to listen to YouTube same time. But the screen is always ON and it drain the battery. (The phone always in my pocket).

How to force YouTube to play in the background and even while the screen is off.

I knew that some other android phone can do that, but Samsung does Not 😢

Any suggestions!!

I used to have poco mobile. And youtube works in the background without premium.

Do you have YouTube premium? It's required to play videos in background in the countries where it's available. Also, you should have four months of YouTube premium for free with your Galaxy s23 device

I don't have premium. Hope if samsung make an update to make it works.

Hi, yes as said by our Samsung community members you need YouTube Premium to play videos in the background.

To activate YouTube premium please follow the steps given below:

Open YouTube App >> Select the account you'd like to use >> Click on Account banner >> Now click on Get YouTube Premium.

Install firefox , ise browser to access m.youtube.com , find video and start playing it. Set browser to desktop mode. Restart video , then minmize the firefox . Audio should continue playing.
