Hello,

Lately I have been having issues with wireless charging. I can plug in my phone because a pin is broken. I have been wirelessly charging it. Lately, when I put it on the pad, the percentage goes down. I've tried everything. I have tried to shut it off, I tried moving it on the pad, I tried switching pads. But my phone still keeps on going down when charging.

It still somewhat works. That is some of the things that I have tried. Once the pandemic is over, I will switch to a newer phone. In the meantime, what other things can I do to make the percentage of the charge go up and stay at 100%.

I have also noticed too, a few times when it is fully charged, I tried to swipe the phone to open. It won't. So I have to restart it again. How do I fix this?

Hy , so I noticed that you've a problem with your samsung galaxy s6 device , it seems to be a battery problem , so I think the only available solution is to change your battery 🔋 for a new one , or Definitely get a new phone , because i had one the last few years and it became too hard to use it the home bouton stopped working and the battery life decreased severely, without talking about software issues , lags, bugs ect ...
soo good luck hope you'll find the good option.
( there is also the possibility to reset your phone , its gonna delete all the data of your device , apps , photos , documents , cache ect ..., and it could solve your problem too ) but the battery problem is obvious, you need to replace it , if you haven't already done.

How do I take out the battery? And how do I get a new one during a pandemic. The store that I got this phone is online. Do I just contact the store online?

You'll need to have it serviced if you need a new battery. Contact support and they'll either direct you to an open service centre or mail it in.

Regards to a new phone... shop online is still an option with delivery. Though mail can be delayed depending where it's coming from. Or pickup at the store (ie. curbside) if they offer it.

I did check. Battery seems good. My issue is that I live in a small city. I know that the service center is closed and I don't have access to a vehicle. What do I do now?

@midnightstarr, Please contact Live Chat support so that they can file the ticket and send a shipping label to get the phone battery replaced. You would be charged for the repair. Samsung is offering Door to Door service. Please schedule a convenient pick-up time for your device at your home by calling FedEx at 1-800-GoFedEx (1-800-463-3339).

The S7 that I had quit charging wirelessly and I came to the conclusion that the problem was was whatever the wireless pad connects with inside of the phone. The rest of the phone worked perfectly and wired charging still worked fine so I just forgot wireless charging till I got a new phone.

Get a price for repair as it will likely cost a lot to repair the number of things you list as wrong on an old phone and you might as well put the money towards a new one.
