My Notes app!

Hello everyone.. Happy 😊 Halloween 🎃!

I have a minor little issue with my Notes app. Don't know if anyone might have any ideas, but, what I had written appears to be there until I open the note.. and then it's not there!?!

Try going to your settings and go under Apps, find Samsung Notes and clear the cache.

Hi ajDilliga,

Please try to clear the cache and force stop the Notes app. Follow the below steps to clear the cache  of the Notes App:
Follow the below steps: Open Settings >> Apps >> Notes >> Storage >> Clear cache.
To force stop the app: Open Settings >> Apps >> Notes >> Storage >> Force Stop.

Then, Reboot the device and check.

Okay, sounds like an excellent idea, but I'm afraid I don't know how to get there! I went to apps, notes, etc. etc. and the pickup below is where I got.. and I can't find how to clear the cache! I'm either missing something that should be here but isn't 😕, or should I just clear the whole phone? (if I knew how to do that!)

Okay.. did it! The first time I did click on the cog, but this time did it right. However.. my Christmas note is still blank. I clicked to clear the cache, but haven't restarted the phone yet. Assume that will fix it, will let you know!

I first of all want to say.. I can't thank you enough for your help! I got to where I had to go and couldn't have done it without you. Now for the bad news. I've restarted my phone and.. my Christmas notes are still missing! I think I'll leave it alone for now as it's after 1am here, but will go thru the same steps again tomorrow, you never know!

You can also check and see if you have the latest update on your Samsung Notes app, go to the Galaxy Store and check for updates, if you need help with that just ask me or @Halston 😊
