Not sure how many of you have experienced this or not, however, my new S20+ has a little bit of a glitch.

Whenever I leave a WiFi connection my phone will not connect to my providers network. Says there is no Sim card. So, I figured out on my own to restart my phone, then unlock it and then I'm magically connected!!!

So, of course I think I've done something wrong in my settings, contact Samsung and find out it is a known issue.

When asked, there is a patch coming for it. No timeline, just told to keep checking for updates. #annoyed #firstworldproblems #fixyourstuff

Have a look at the link below - Samsung Chat Support doesn't have a sterling record of accuracy - They MAY be right this time - But it's always worth checking for yourself.

Go to Settings - General Management - Reset Network Settings - Reboot & See if that solves the problem for you.

I'll give it a go, oddly enough, my issue is the reverse, does not recognize that I have a sim card, connecting to wifi is never an issue. Strange, thanks, I'll give it a go.

thanks for the info, I did try the reset which seems to be working so far. If the issue pops back up I'll update the post...

Did you receive a new SIM card with your new device? If not - I'd also start with getting a new SIM from your Carrier - There's not many reports of the issue you are experiencing & a new SIM (which should be free) can at least rule out one possible issue.

once I restart it, it recognizes the sim card, it only does it when switching off wifi. Same sim card I've had with my previous phone.

Yeah I'd still get a new SIM... I know that most Carriers will give you a new SIM card at no charge & then at least you have ruled out one possible issue.

You COULD also try just popping the current SIM out & back in...
Obviously power OFF your device First.

Good to hear - Maybe let us know if Resetting the Network resolved the issue for you.
