I upgraded from s22 ultra to s25 ultra, as soon as I recieved it I applied spigen ez tempered glass and I felt so dumb to do that.
I bought this new model to reduce reflections caused by sunlight, once I applied the tempered glass it looked horrendous, colours were washed out and reflections were pretty infuriating.
I ripped the tempered glass now it look good.
So if you buy this phone do these things.
1. Don't apply tempered glass as it will bring back reflections and the colors will be washed.
2. Go to Settings > Display > Screen mode > select Vivid > Advanced settings > and slide the vividness to maximum.

Now you will get the saturated colours which you like on previous models.

You probably should have purchased a Whitestone Dome Tempered Glass screen protector. But you will have to wait to receive it. I ordered it on the 25th, which was the first day it was available on Amazon Canada.

However it won't arrive until the 17th of February, and it's now showing as "currently unavailable".

Whitestone does have other Tempered glass screen protectors, that are advertised as anti reflective.. but they don't use the edge to edge liquid adhesive..

I'm still waiting for my S25 Ultra, (Today or Monday), but I've been using Whitestone Dome Tempered Glass screen protectors since the S9+ and never had issues with reflections.

As I said, Whitestone does have a Tempered glass screen protector that they advertise as "non reflective", which is different from the ones I get.. it doesn't use a liquid adhesive, which is why I won't get it.

But unlike the one I ordered, it's available now.

Then you are missing the point, you will understand what I mean when you apply tempered glass on your new s25 ultra.
The anti reflection coating of S24/25 ultra becomes useless if you put a tempered glass.

When you receive the phone, use it without tempered glass for a while and then apply it.
You will understand what I'm talking about, but if you use it you won't be able to return it.
So it's up to you

You can absolutely return Whitestone Dome Tempered Glass if you get it from Amazon Canada... I have no choice but to use it without the Whitestone, because I won't receive the Whitestone until the 17th.

And no, I didn't miss the point you're trying to make.

Hi TechJ,

Great insights! Thank you for sharing your experience with the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the impact of tempered glass on display quality. Your tips will definitely help other users optimize their display settings for the best possible experience.

For those considering a screen protector, an ultra-thin film protector might be a better alternative as it provides protection without affecting colors or reflections as much as tempered glass.

Enjoy your new device!

I went with the Samsung Anti glare Screen protector. Seems to work pretty good .
