Overheating

I have a big problem with my S23 Ultra🥲💔

My phone is new. i bought it nearly 1 month ago 

And if i use it for 10 minutes, just scroll in facebook,instagram,Whatsapp, or others...

The heat reaches around 34°C-35°C and 37°C!!!!

My ambient temperature isn't that hot 30°C in maximum or less

And when i charge it, the heat reaches 39°C-40°C i can not even touch it!!!! Also, that happens when i want to play any game

My OneUI is 6.0

Please can anyone help? What should i do, or does anyone face a similar problem💔💔🤦🏻

I would recommend taking it to a certified Samsung Electronics Repair Shop where they can officially diagnose what is causing the rise in temperature of the phone.

If you're talking about the Battery temperature, anywhere from 29° C to 40° C would be considered normal. 

You could always Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache. 

What Watt Charging Block are you using? 

You could also try Going to the Samsung Members app & Click on Support, run the Diagnostics for the Battery. see you get any error messages.

Yes, I am talking about the battery temperature
But it's so annoying to use the phone with this heat rather than the problems that would cause in the future 🙄
My phone is new, so I don't think there are cache files
I used both 25W and 45W, and they are original chargers from samsung
I tried it also 😂 💔 💔 in diagnostic, and it wrote the battery is good just that

Get these two apps from apk mirror, Good Guardians & Thermal Guardian. 

They are both Samsung Apps, just not available in Canada from the Galaxy Store.

After you installed both, you'll see a graphic like this. 

It's normal to see the battery temperature rise during gaming and charging etc. 

I wouldn't worry about it at all.. 

This is on my S23 Ultra One UI V6.1. 

You should also update your device's Firmware to One UI V6.1. 

Save your time and effort, and don't bother going to a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech. 

 

With Thermal Guardian, you can also apply these Settings if you are concerned about the temperature.

Am actually planning to update it to V6.1, but i heard about some problems like you can't change your clock style of the always on display from your settings, so I am waiting for the next update when they do the optimization.

You can change the Clock of AOD using GoodLock's ClockFace on One UI V6.1.

You might also find the battery improves.

Hi Yahya865, that's sad to hear that your device is over heating.

Have you tried the steps and suggestions by RedDogRabbit? Is your issue resolved?

However, you can also utilize the Optimize now feature in Battery and device care. Also, add the Optimize now widget to your home screen for quick and easy access.

Open the settings menu > Tap “Battery and device care” > Tap “Optimize now” > When this is complete tap “Done” > Tap More options icon > Tap “Add to Apps screen” > From the Apps screen, long press on “Device care” > Tap Widgets to open the widget display option > Tap the icon to add it to the home screen > The device care widget will appear on your home screen.

Yes, I have tried them, but there is no such improvement
The good guardian was great, and the suggestions that he gave me also.. but the issue still exists!!
Unfortunately, i didn't expect this really bad problem to be in a flagship phone, and i bought it because i heard a lot about how the phone is perfect, but it was the opposite... 💔
I don't know what to do. i can't use it freely or do anything i want
Even playing some games, i can't do it!!🤦🏻
And for the optimization i tried it also and it didn't help at all
