I am just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue as me with the camera on the S21 Ultra? When recording a video and panning the camera it is quite jumpy, it seems like jumping between lenses and trying to decide which one to use. It sort of stops and starts. Just not smooth at all. Even when I'm taking photos and moving the camera it just seems laggy. Hard to find the right words to describe it. I tried 8K and also UHD at 60fps for the videos and getting the same issue. And the video quality is so poor.

I done a software update which hasn't helped. I also tried panning camera slowly but still its too bumpy especially when panning from low light area to bright light area.

Everything seems nice and smooth on my S21 Ultra. You can maybe try to clear your cache partition in recovery and also try to reset camera settings see if it helps.

Wipe cache partition

Galaxy S21

First, Turn off your phone.

• Then hold down Volume Up and Power button until you see SAMSUNG Galaxy logo on the screen.

• After that select Wipe cache partition. Use Volume buttons to scroll and confirm with the Power button.

• Now go to Yes option.

• At last, choose Reboot system now by using the Power key. Now your device should work better

Hi GG2 and Cassidy, thanks for the suggestion. I tried wiping cache partition and followed the steps as mentioned above, but the problem is still there.

I tried the steps as  mentioned, but the problem still persists. It is more prominent in Pro Video mode.

Hi, I suggest you please try resetting the camera settings by opening your camera application and tap on the settings gear icon and scroll until you find the reset settings option and tap on it. Please try this and check if the issue got resolved.

Hi Keagan, I just did a reset on my camera settings. This problem is easily reproducible when there is a bright sun outside, but its dark outside here. Will surely give a try tomorrow morning and update you with the results. Thanks!

Just thought of giving a try with low light, I was easily able to see the jitter. I recorded with FHD 60 fps. Jitter can be seen in the recorded video.
