Good day everyone. I'm not sure if I'm not understanding how the camera Singal Take works, or there's a problem.
When I click on the button, it does a 10 second countdown. I enabled all the 6 options but it only takes 4 (original, cropped shot, fast forward clip and original video). My older Galaxy devices take more than 4. I've closed the camera app, cleared storage cache and data, checked for an update and wiped the cache in recovery mode and same result. So is there something wrong? Thank you.

Do you want to just take a single shot?

Which Camera are you using, Default or Raw Camera?

Camera Assistant?

Did you go to the Camera's settings & Reset the Camera's settings?

My S23 Ultra just takes a single photo when I touch the shutter.

If it's counting down, that normally means low light conditions

When I click Single Take it's supposed to take multiple photos in different formats, but it only takes 4 in total. I'm using the default camera app (version 14.1.01.7) on my 23+. I tried it with and without the Camera Assistant app. I reset the camera settings and cleared the storage cache and data. Also booted into Recovery mode and cleared the partition cache. It counts down from 10 seconds with an option to add 5 more. I don't think the countdown means there's low light. It does in Night mode and other modes. I tried to take photos outside in the bright sunlight and it still does a countdown. Thank you for your suggestions. I think it might be a bug in the latest update, but not sure.

K, the reason for the countdown here with Single Take is to produce the 4 (not 6) images. That's on my S23 Ultra One UI V6.1.

Well there are 6 available on my S23 Ultra as well, and A.I. says UP TO 14 kinds of photos & videos... but it's UP TO.

"AI captures up to 14 kinds of photos and videos (10 photos and 4 videos) from 3~10 seconds of capture."

I haven't bothered to explore how A.I. determines the number of photos / videos taken?

Thank you for the update. It doesn't change anything on my S23+. I just won't use it.
