Hi, I request you to please follow the below steps once and check again.

Here is the path:
Power the device off.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key.
Navigate with the Volume keys to the wipe cache partition option and press the Power key to select.

Performing a wipe cache partition removes any temporary files that may be causing an issue with the device.

That won't do anything, Play Store updates are pushed by google, all he can do is wait.

You deleted my post, which along with some humor, explained the reason why their S24 series device was still on the July 1st Play System Update...

Then you posted your post, which ignores the reality of why their device is on the July Play System Update.. And give them instructions which will accomplish absolutely nothing to resolve the issue. which is entirely in the hands of Google.. 🙄

Please explain how my previous post here was in violation of anything?? SERIOUSLY! 😡

All S24's are on July 1st at the moment. Keep checking regularly as there is no fix.

I read somewhere about the January update causing storage issues so it was pulled and recently started rolling out again. Should be soon for our devices.

Hi sharurocks, as GG2 has explained, Google Play System update is released by Google, and there is currently no action needed to fix your phone to get the update. We kindly ask you to wait and check manually for the update, or regularly check Samsung Members Community to see if another Member has received the update.

AND, as I had explained.. but my initial post here was deleted....

Eventually, this is going to result in my leaving Samsung Members.. like some other "level 5 experts" (whatever that means) have done.

Posting irrelevant links, parroting the answers given by other members, deleting posts that, in anyone's wildest imagination, don't violate anything.. but actually address the question..

Samsung Members can "cherish" the memory of people who actually contribute here... but got so fed up with the nonsense, that they decided to leave.

Don't leave. You're a big reason that this forum is useful, despite the deleted posts and lack of subject knowledge of the moderators.

As for the original post, I'm stuck at July 1 too, and there's plenty of people competing about it on other forums.

Hi RedDogRabbit, we apologize and will check manually if your post/comment was mistakenly filtered out. There are several posts regarding the Google Play System update, and it seems you provided an explanation on DTS's thread. Could you clarify if it was your initial comment here in this thread that mistakenly got deleted?

Thank you for your valuable contribution here in Samsung Members.

Yes, my post in this Thread was deleted. I had posted just after @GG2 posted his reply.

I also had a post notifying people who might be interested in a Nova Launcher update deleted, and had to post it again.

There's been several other instances where I have corrected a Moderator's post, their post was edited to correct their error, and mine deleted...

The only reasons why I post on Samsung Members, is because I like Samsung's products, I've got some decent knowledge about Android, Samsung in particular, and I like helping people...but my patience is wearing thin with the childish behaviour I'm seeing.

If I was getting paid buckets of money to be here, fine, but I'm not getting a penny for my time, so disrespectful actions from Samsung Members, are not acceptable.
