Samsung DeX Problem

Hey! Just started using Samsung DeX with the new android 10 update and I have to say its awesome. However, major google apps such as Docs, slides, and sheets are not compatible. It is hard itself scrolling though these apps and it is hard also editing, especially on docs. It gives you the mobile view. Why can't we seem to use these productivity apps efficiently? It is very annoying though, all said.

i think, it's because they're 3rd party apps.. yup, i hope it will be smooth soon. only Samsung and Huawei has dex program (i dunno what it is called i huawei). and also open for correction..

I don't understand the logic though for office apps. If one is using Dex for PC (phone connected to PC with Dex software) why would one not actually use the PC for that? Only time one would use a mobile app is if there isn't software for the PC.

i agree @Vic20 if you will use dex PC for office app why not use the Office for pc itself?? i only use office on the phone when I'm not on my PC.. unless otherwise, they don't have a PC or they just use the portable monitors today that are compatible with samsung dex..

The purpose of Dex is to not require a PC also.  Give it time.  Android wasnt the greatest of operating systems when it came out... Was complete garbage until about gingerbread/honeycomb

That's one of Samsung problems, to much going on at once. I know there trying to cover every edge in the since of profits for the company but it's annoying for the user... I don't understand why they don't dedicate more people to mainstream phones. Instead of making half **bleep** apps that are bugging.

Microsoft Office apps are made for DeX. They're also infinitely better than Google Docs. But why anyone would use DeX on PC to use Office is beyond me.

I use DeX on pc only to send SMS

You don't need Dex on your pc to use messaging. Just link your phone to windows 10 with windows phone app and your done.

That's not the proper way. Use Samsung Flow or Your Phone Assistant for Win10. DeX on PC for SMS is really not the right way.
