Smart Lock - Trusted Devices Missing

For the last couple of days I have had to constantly use my PIN or fingerprint to access my S23 Ultra. This morning I had a few minutes and looked in to why. I am an old codger and have hearing aids and I also have a Fitbit both of which I have set as trusted devices.

I was rather surprise to find Trusted Devices is missing from Settings -> Lock Screen -> Smart Lock.

I then wiped the cache partition and that did not help.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any suggestions on how to resolve it?

Hi, I have same problem... the setting under those tabs... trusted device has disappeared.

It's only has on body detection and trusted location option now. Not the trusted device. Previously you were able to have it unlocked with certain Bluetooth devices. For instance when I was connected to my earbuds or car, phone would be unlocked. But not that option has disappeared.

I have the S23 Ultra.

I had not tried searching for it, but when I do it doesn't even find the Trusted Places.

I tried turning that toggle off and then on again. No change.

Yeah, it's still there, they just inexplicably charged what you need to Search for in Settings.

Just Search for "Trust". The Toggle is in "Trust Agents".

I found the toggle. Toggled it off then back on. The Trusted Devices still does not appear under Settings -> Lock Screen -> Smart Lock. Screenshot_20230921_091354_Settings.jpg

According to the information in the Link, Google will be replacing Smart Lock with Extend Unlock:

https://www.androidcentral.com/phones/extend-unlock-rebrand-spotted#:~:text=Google%20has%20started%2...

Samsung has accidentally removed Smart Unlock earlier this year, perhaps they did so again?

Or, perhaps Google's Extend Unlock just didn't get merged yet?

*EDIT*

Actually I was wrong!

Smart Lock is STILL THERE!

"Trusted Devices" is no longer there after the last update for me on 09-21-2023.  Have you updated? Trusted Devices is now gone from "Smart Lock", as the original person posted at the beginning of this thread.

Samsun is moving backwards now.

What a pain ins the *** with Samsung on this, lousy service, lousy tech support.  (or maybe they just hired some new idiots that screwed this up?)

I wasn't saying Smart Lock wasn't there. I said Trusted devices under Smart Lock was missing. Screenshot_20230921_100727_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20230921_100650_Google Play services.jpg
