Hi, just to confirm are you using Google Voice Texting on Samsung Keyboard?

Depends on the keyboard. With Google keyboard it's on the top row.

Check if voice typing is enabled in the keyboard settings.

Ok so I found the answer to it, in case anyone wants to try it. It's kinda funky in how you have to do it but it will get the Voice-to-Text microphone symbol back. So what you do is go to your keyboard settings specifically the Keyboard list and default. Then turn off Google Voice Typing then and make sure the keyboard button on navigation bar is on. Once you do that you should be able to go back to the Keyboard List and Default menu, swap the default keyboard to the Google keyboard and then swap it back to the Samsung one. Then turn back on the Google Voice typing. You should see the word automatic under Google Voice Typing.  Then you should see the little microphone symbol on bottom area of the keyboard screen when you go to type something.

P.S you may see a message pop up for when you turn off the Google Voice it's okay. Just continue with the directions.
