I feel really stupid - but thanks for the solution. I searched that before and swear it was not there. I did a search for "advanced" and selected the "Advanced Features" with a gold cog in front of it with a white plus sign (+) and there it was. Working fine. Thanks again.
I have a Galaxy Tab S7, and a Galaxy S20 phone, and I'm encountering the same issue. I do not see "Call & Text on Other Devices" anywhere in the phone's Advanced Features, so I cannot find this toggle to enable it.
How can I link my tablet to my phone, to be able to send/receive texts?

I also don't have "Call & text on other devices" on my phone. My Galaxy Tab S5e tablet has such a setting, but my Galaxy J3 Orbit phone does not. The phone is running Android 9 and the software is up-to-date. Is there another way my phone can use that QR code that my tablet generates with "Link this tablet to your phone"? More generally, is there a way to link the tablet to a Samsung phone that does not show a setting for "Call & text on other devices"?
When I go to "call on other device" it asks me to link my tab to my phone. It shows a QR that you scan with your phone and it's supposed to link them together. Only problem, when I go to the link that pops up. I keep getting sent to a page that requires you to pay 49 dollars to accomplish the task of linking my tab to my phone. I know for a fact that the page I'm getting is NOT the real page that I need. I have no way of linking now. Any suggestions?
