I have an S21 (on T-Mobile) and all of a sudden my text notifications don't work. Everything is allowed under the settings, but only texts from three people actually show up. The rest just vibrate, but there is no pop-up. I've tried turning everything (notification-wise) on and off, even turning them on one at a time. But, nothing changes. I have no idea why the three names are showing up where they are, but they are the only ones it works for. I am SOOOO frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, this is not for bubble messaging/notifications; I've never used that and don't like it, but that also seems to be working fine, just not the pop-up notifications.

Since you are on T-Mobile you should post your question on the US site of Samsung Members

You are posting on the Canadian site which doesn't use T-Mobile

Which Messaging app are you using, Samsung's or Google Messages?

If you are using Samsung's, try switching to Google Messages & test.

Hi AmirAr, as advised by RedDogRabbit if your'e using Samsung Messages app,

please try to use Google Messages instead of preloaded Samsung Messages App.

Download from Google Play store:  Google Messages and set as default and verify if your issue is solved.

Thank you.

**bleep** why is samsung saying use Google messages instead?

Also check each individual contact as you may have them set to mute or block notifications.
Also if you have a sound profile established or routine you may have set them to allow them to contact whole others do not have permission.

Verify where you saved the contacts too could be blocking non Sim contacts

I think Samsung Messaging is being deprecated and no longer supported.

Samsung Messages did / does have an issue with RCS with some Carriers & in some Regions. whereas Google Messages didn't / doesn't.

Samsung has also been moving from Samsung Cloud to One Drive as well.

It's not a bad thing either.

Samsung's strength hasn't really always been in it's software, but it's hardware.

If this means that Samsung has recognized that it can't be the "best" in all areas, and not to reinvent the wheel. 👍🏻
