Samsung Pay

I'm setting up my Samsung Galaxy Active 2 and when I go to add my debit card to the pay as it tells me to do - it's asking for a postal code but only shows numbers, meanwhile I'm in Canada Ontario and we use letters & numbers. I've read most of the posts and comments here to see the issue but I thought I'd make a post to ask myself to see what I myself is able to do about the issue. My friend got me this watch as a gift this week off of Amazon.

Sincerely,

Nikita Ogden ❤️

Samsung Pay

Likely is a US or international and not Canadian watch if it only accepts numbers

It's quite possible that if your friend purchased the device from Amazon, it is likely to be a US model. This would explain the Postal Code issue.

Amazon Canada fairly often has Samsung devices for sale, but they could easily be a European / International model, or a US model.

One way to find out what country the device was made for, is from the model number.

But from what you are describing, I think that it's likely to be a US model.

Thank you RedDogRabbit and Ray1.

Hi NikitaOgden, as suggested by RedDogRabbit and Ray1 the watch seems like international model.

Unfortunately, Samsung pay Canada will not work on International watch.

I can confirm it's a US Device as I purchased a Z Flip 3 in the US and unable to add Samsung Pay. (Same thing was asking to add zip code of only numbers)
Also everytime there is an update I have to wait for T Mobile to release the update to my device.
