Workout screen gone on UI 6

My watch 6 was just updated today and now when I do a workout, the home screen is shown when I raise my wrist instead of the workout screen. This is totally stupid. I can't see any setting for this. Why?

On your watch, select an exercise but don't start it. Scroll down to the settings, and you should see an option to keep the screen on.

I don't want to keep the screen on. I want it to come on when I raise my wrist as before.

Okay thanks. I spoke to a samsung tech who had me reset the watch and that didn't fix it. I even tried the leave screen on option and the screen still went dark and went to homescreen on raising my wrist.

Okay, I just did a quick workout and mine works as intended. I will go back and check all of my settings and report back once I find something.

I did a reset without restoring my backup and now it's working properly. Something must have caused the problem but no idea what. Anyway, I'll have to set up everything again. Thanks.

Oh really, good to know. At least settings everything up on the watch doesn't take that long, not like a phone. 😉
