My watch 6 was just updated today and now when I do a workout, the home screen is shown when I raise my wrist instead of the workout screen. This is totally stupid. I can't see any setting for this. Why?
It doesn't work. I've tried both AOD and work-out-keep-screen-on, and either one, the workout screen just fails to stay. And I've done a factory reset, no difference.
When you performed your factory reset, did you reconfigure your watch from a backup? If so, as mentioned by @CTZ, he performed a reset without restoring a backup, and now everything works as it should.

I don't see gestures under advanced features. I tried looking for wrist raise in all the categories and don't see it anywhere. I have the watch 6, not classic. Also did a search in the wear app on my phone. Don't see this option anywhere.
Same problem here. I run 4-5 times a week. After my Watch6 got the update, the workout screen won't stay. When I raise my wrist, the home screen shows. The workout screen comes up when the lap notification triggers it. I've tried every possible items in the settings, as well as factory reset, the problem still exists. I'm very frustrated...... Please, Samsung, please fix it.
Yes, a reset only worked for a day. It's doing the same thing now. Very frustrating. The only solution I see is to set display last app used to 1 hr. That is working. So stupid to change this setting and others have the same problem. It's the software update.
I confirm that there is a problem after update. The workout screen won't stay, once you raise your wrist, it goes to home screen. The same applies to auto detected workouts. It's a massive flaw.
