No Pop-up Or Sound Notification on Emails

 All of a sudden, I no longer receive sound or pop-up notifications on my A52 5G when I'm getting emails.

 When I click on the Email icon ... The email comes thru (still with no notification). 

 Can someone tell me how to correct this?

I don't know how to pull this up.

Open Email App -> 3 bars on top left -> click gear icon on top right -> click on your email account. Look under sync settings.

Big thanks RedDogRabbit! You led me to discover that (a) I had Manage Notification Categories turned off (see and (b) Email requires it to be on to even see that it defaults to not notify new emails! Solved my (and my wife's) problem with our new A16s.  Happy day 😀
