common... no one cares about bixby it's useless, awful, garbage... let us remap the button already! Clearly none one really likes it if you had to update it to completely stop it from working... so I think it's about time (along with the nowalmost year and a half old update 8.0) you guys make more money year by year then apple and Google combined... Samsung is so large of a company you CAN afford to listen to you customers... But the auto killing bots to the side... for people that don't know samsung is actually a huge company! woth a BP division a financial institution that deals with investments and other stuff like that... they also have a military division as well.

Lol I actually really enjoy Bixby and while yes it is currently limited in its use, that's just comparing it to current AIs which considering how those AIs started, Bixby is much more advanced. Bixby still does a lot more than current AIs do and they've had 5 years to perfect. It's not useless unless you don't know how to properly utilize Bixby. On another note, Bixby 2.0 is on the horizon and if you haven't looked up what that update will mean for Bixby, you really should.

Samsung is a big business because it chooses to take risks, it wouldn't be where it was if it didn't do that. Samsung is always innovating and sometimes there's a period that requires patience but at the end of that, Samsung almost always shines and perfects it's product or they'll remove it but you gotta have patience.

This is all just my own opinion, not telling you you're wrong, you have a right to be frustrated, just trying to ease you through it.

@kingjamz, I wouldn't go as far as saying that no one really likes Bixby unless you personally know every single person that has used it and said they don't like or care for it, as I for one use it on a daily basis and enjoy using it. Can Bixby be improved, yes it can but Bixby is also new and will get better, as @Jonathan34 mentioned, Bixby will be updated to Bixby 2.0. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and yes Samsung is a big company with a lot of different divisions, now if they could only open a fitness clothing line division 😁

oh I've tried to learn it and see how it's useful but it isn't... I have a very sharp learning curve for tech stuff. But this app is just horrible... it's good for Samsung things and little stupid settings stuff but not real world A.I uses... Google's A.I much more useful... Alexia is stupid as well... she's only really good with Amazon stuff and siri... well she's in her own horrible apple only environment so she's not included lol

I hear all you guys and what your saying but it's clear the majority of people that have been using Samsung phones after the 8's release really dosen t like the whole bixby thing... if it was going as well as they'd hoped why would they allow us to practically disable the whole app? their literally a step or to away from trashing the whole idea (it seems) I'm just mentioning in hopes they decide to do it earlier. at the end of the day I DONT know every person with this phone but if you look up YouTube you'll see many videos of people trashing the A.I (Which alot of them are nicer to bixby when they review it) and the host and the people watching all agree that it's horrible... sure a few people might find it useful (aka you 4 lol) but really the majority CLEARLY has no use for it... shoot it can't even map my route to work... it has to open Google maps and I have to enter it myself... how is that safe while I'm driving or how it that useful when my hands are full?
so to recap... I don't know everyone with these phones sure... But with a little research you really see the majority owners don't care much for it... plus the trending videos on YouTube on how to completely disable it... and I mean like 100k videos worth! not likes or views but actual videos!

You're going off of YouTubers and reviews, that already sets you in an unbiased seat. It's how the world works, you watch all these videos and content on how things are and it shapes your opinion. A True techie plays with things and forms their own opinions. Saying that 100k video watchers all agree are because they love their YouTubers, they follow them. It's like iSheep, they follow Apple blindly. Again here you are comparing 5 year old AIs to Bixby, once Bixby 2.0 launches, the competition is going to have a hard time. Look into Bixby 2.0, the features touted are going to really push the Bixby forward.

Lol also saying "You 4" in a passive agressive manner with a post that's been up for only an hour and having no one else agree with you should say something.

Also, Bixby isn't technically an AI, it's a virtual Assistant, they're two different things and so at it's current state it is meant to work with Google Assistant and not against it. Eventually, Bixby will probably become both a full fledged AI and a Virtual Assistant in which case it'll then be competition to fear.
