Hey everyone!! Hope you guys tuned in this morning for Galaxy Unpacked. Let's use this thread for discussion. What was your favorite highlight??

Who is looking forward to the new Note 20 and the Z Flip 2??

What about those stylish beans or the new Galaxy Watch 3 and of course how can we forgot the new Galaxy Tab S7!! What are looking forward to getting your hands on first? Five amazing new products and a HUGE milestone for Samsung and congratulations once again to yet another successful Unpacked!!

Just woke up a bit ago and finished digesting all the new things from Unpacked. Hoo boy. 

Galaxy Note20/Note20 Ultra:

 Wow. The Ultra looks incredible. Spec wise alone I'm confident that there's really no other competitor to it in the market- the power on the device is insane. 

The Regular Note20 is a bit of a disappointment for me. I get it's the easier "gateway" option into those who want a Note but it makes some questionable sacrifices for an asking price of $1349(plastic back, no expandable storage...). 

Watch 3 :

Don't know much about it, but I'm a huge fan of the design change. Rotating bezel baybeeeeee

Also a truly decent competitor to other tablets on the market. Easily the best Android tablet, hands down... but software support down the road is going to be what makes or breaks the purchase for some.

Galaxy Z Fold 5G: 

This is what I imagined the first Fold should have been. It looks really good and I'm impressed how quickly Samsung's foldable phone has improved in the matter of a year.

General thoughts: 

I really like this whole Mystic Bronze colourway they have going on this year too, that's nice.

Also, really pleased to hear that 3 years of software support is now standard as opposed to 2 years, because with the way prices are shaping up for these devices (especially in Canada) it becomes increasingly difficult to justify purchasing these. And that's really the only thing that bothers me about these devices- the price. I know these are all meant to be "ultra power devices" or something along the lines, but the prices are beginning to stray further from what normal consumers can achieve. The Note20 Ultra is straight up over 2 G's for the 512GB model... that's insane.

Other than that, well done Sammy.

hmmm... well you see here's the problem, I have an EXTRA pair of Gear IconXs (brand new) which no one wants to get for some reason, and I'm currently waiting for my carrier to drop the price of the S20 so I can pick one up. If I can sell the Gear IconXs then I might think of getting the beans lol

the overall livestream was kind of cringey. I was hoping a company as big as samsung would be able to put together a visually pleasing keynote similar to apples, but sadly not.

I'm super disappointed with the Note 20. Plastic back, 60hz display, etc. 1000 dollars. Its a scam in my opinion.

The Note 20 Ultra looks nice, but is overpriced. I love the matte glass back and the 9ms pen latency. The camera design I like as well.

I like the beans. I might pick them up. ANC is a great feature.

I'm really happy with the 3 years of updates announcement. I wish it started with the S9, but since I have an S10e I'm just glad I get to keep this thing a little longer.

My favourite announcement was the Z Fold 2. That thing looks so cool. The massive front screen, the hole punch, the matte glass, etc. I wish I had enough money to buy one.

Overall, it was a pretty average keynote to me. One second im blown away, the next second im pissed off.

Pretty sure the Livestream for at least some parts was live vs Apples that was pre-recorded. At least from the stream of the fans in the background was real time as far as I can tell (since I met some of the people that were featured there)
