Note 10 Lite - Green video calls after UI 5.1 update

Hey,

I've got a Note 10 Lite, and after the latest update to One UI version 5.1, my video calls turned green, just the color green. It's a bit like the Hulk but not as fun.

WhatsApp and Messenger show my camera and others' cameras working, but they only see a green screen. 🟢

Oddly enough, when I use the camera app, everything's fine. I can take photos and record without a hitch.

Here's what I've tried so far:

1. Wiping the cache partition.
2. Cleaning up all app settings.
3. Making sure all my apps are up to date.
4. Made sure there's no video call effects on

Could you work your magic and help me exhibit my kids to their relatives? 🙏

Additional info: Just realized that I also can not connect to my whatsapp via PC by scanning QR code with my camera.
When I open web.whatsapp.com and want to scan QR code, whatsapp not recognize it, means whatsapp can not see what I see from my phone camera at all

wow yeah, I have same issue, I just thought that for some reason it is not working because I reinstalled whatsapp and tried to use old web.whatsapp.com chat pages.

I have written to Whatsapp about this same issue and all I get is an automated message related to everything but the bug and then a survey asking how they did.

I have had the same issue with my Samsung Note 10 Lite since the updates, every other video call app works fine, except WhatsApp and Messenger.

Sounds like a Facebook / Meta problem. 

Hope people with this Facebook / Meta problem are posting on their community forums..

Yes, seems like that, just tested with Telegram, and no issues there on video call.

I have the same problem here in Germany with my Samsung Note 10 Lite. Any help would be fantastic.  As far as I can see here, there has been no solution found for this problem.  No one can see me, which is awful for my very ill mother in the UK.  I do hope this problem is solved very soon.

Ask Facebook / Meta to fix it.. It's their fault.

Is not their fault... is Samsung's fault. Whatsapp & messenger. 

How do we report it to Samsung

How is it Samsung's fault? 

Video calls work perfectly fine with every other app... ie: Signal, Telegram, Zoom, Skype,  Google Duo..

WhatsApp & Messenger are both Facebook /Meta products. 

If you want, you can send an "error report", for a non Samsung problem to Samsung from Samsung Members / Support.
