I don't really have any touch issues with the phone but if i take my s pen and starting drawing on the screen, it's all good but on the right edge the pen misses a lot and the lines are not continuous. For comparison the left side doesn't have any issues whatsoever. Should I contact Samsung for repair or is it normal?

Hi khehra,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Since when you are facing this issue?

Please try to reset the S-Pen and Wipe the Cache Partition and check.

To reset S-Pen follow the below steps: Open Settings >> Tap Advanced features >> Tap S Pen >> Tap S Pen again, then tap S Pen remote or Air actions, and then tap More options (the three vertical dots). Tap Reset S Pen and wait for the S Pen to reset itself.

Note: Resetting your S Pen will revert all of its features, including remote commands, to their default settings.

To Wipe the Cache Partition follow the below steps:

- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up key and Power/Bixby key.
- When the SAMSUNG Galaxy logo appears release all the keys.
- An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press the Power key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, and press the Power key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, the Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Power key to restart the device.

If the above steps did not solve the issue. Then as mentioned by RedDogRabbit, "just back up your phone with smart switch first." Then try a factory reset.

Also, Make sure that the phone is updated to the latest version and try without the case if you have one on your phone as mentioned by Habsfan.

Thanks, TBoneRedDogRabbit, and Habsfan for sharing the information and helping our community members.
