NOTE 20 Ultra screen issues

I don't really have any touch issues with the phone but if i take my s pen and starting drawing on the screen, it's all good but on the right edge the pen misses a lot and the lines are not continuous. For comparison the left side doesn't have any issues whatsoever. Should I contact Samsung for repair or is it normal?

do you have a screen protector? maybe it's starting to pull away from the screen in that area?. also there are some self help diagnostic tools here in the members app on the main home screen at the bottom in the help section. you can check most items on your device. I would try that first.

no there's no screen protector and the self help doesn't cover the edge screen using s pen

so your issue is for the very edge of the screen?

Your phone should have come with Samsung's pre-installed plastic screen protector. Did you remove it? 

Before you contact Samsung for repair, have you tried the interactive tests for the screen on the Samsung Members app? The interactive self test should also work with the Spen. 

I had a touch issue on a previous phone & in my case a factory reset resolved the touch issue on my phone. 

During Covid, anything is better than visiting a Samsung service center!

yea i removed the plastic screen protector long time ago, the touch is issue is only on one side of edge and i have run all the tests. i can post a screenshot to visualize the issue

Well, I'd try a factory reset before going to a service center, just back up your phone with smart switch first. Stranger things have happened 🤞

do you have a case? I had an issue and it was the case as there's a magnetic in the case. try without a case on

this is highly likely the cause. strong magnets 🧲 interfering or running the spen. not just your case but car mounting adaptor that uses a nuclear powered magnet
