Hi there...

A couple of months ago after an update, Samsung Email failed to work for me. I've been using the Gmail client for my work email but the experience leaves much to be desired.

Apparently, I need the "SSL/TLS Accept all Certificates" option to be available and I can't find it while setting up the mailbox. Without this option present, it just keeps spinning on "checking incoming server settings".

Someone, please help!

Thank you but I don't see that option. Attaching what I see. To confirm, I am using the Samsung base Email client with an Exchange server.

Why kind of account do you have , and why do you think you need to choose "SSL/TLS Accept all Certificates"...normally SSL is the default

It's a Microsoft Exchange account using ActiveSync. It is a corporate account. They don't support IMAP.

If you need to choose SSL Accept all Certificate. You cannot choose Exchange ActiveSync protocol.

Remove existing account from Samsung Email app. Then add an account. Choose other. Now, choose IMAP. Fill out all information and you can choose SSL/TLS infomation under IMAP and SMTP server category. If this is Corporate email, ask your internal IT for IMAP server settings. If it is Gmail or Hotmail, you can find the settings from internet.
