Samsung Messages screen wake

Hey everyone. I just got a note 20 ultra and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to stop Samsung stock text app from waking the display when a message comes in. Help!

Did you try " Do not disturb " option ?

Humm Samsung is buggy, it doesn't take my picture

Ok, try this
Go in Message, click on the 3 dots, click on settings /Notifications In apps application settings and disable preview new message in lock screen

And tell me if it works

Hummm, maybe you have to restart the device to make it work ?

If it does'nt works,

Open Settings, go to Lock Screen /Notifications to show/Alert only ...

Grrr Samsung's Members is really bad for pictures

Please follow the below steps and check.

Open Messages >> Click on three dots menu >> Settings >> Notifications >> click on New messages >> Select Lock screen >> select dont show notifications.
