I'd like to preface this by saying that the events that led to the events narrated here have led me to have a much smaller presence on the forums. But it was all for a good cause.
Yesterday, I went to the new SES in Downtown Montreal. Excellent location, directly accessible from the metro, no need to go outside. Had they picked some suburban mall like Le Carrefour... *shudders*
Greeted by nice staff, the store had lots of stuff, including things not on Samsung.ca (normally the opposite is true). When I mentioned the base N20 was a mistake, the sales rep completely agreed. Instant respect. Used my SPC promo and got a phone plus a clear-view case for 1100$. Anyway, I came out of this place with this:
Yep, that's the Note10+. With the greatest colour my eyes ever beheld, since it's ALL OF THEM, either some or all at once.
So far the device is great, even if some great features from the Note9 will be sorely missed, such as the pressure-sensitive home area or the headphone jack. There is one major issue I have, and it's the fact you can't permanently hide the status bar (or at least make it thicker so the selfish cam is centered and properly buffered). It gives results like this:
At least I can work around it on S Internet with Night Mode, but still.
I've only had the device less than 24h so the comments I can give are quite limited. I still haven't touched the camera yet! I will say however that the new Clear View case is really cool. The Standing feature will be missed unfortunately, but the new case is sleeker and has a cool design.
With this issue out of the way, I hope to resume normal activity soon.

The N10+ was my choice since a few days. That's why I changed my profile pic to this gradient. The N20U is still a possibility, the rep told me there might be something cool about this soon.
