I don't know why because I don't even deleting it myself it gets deleted it self auto.
Could someone please help if anyone experience the same it is so frustrating. I have to keep saving contacts again and again and even most of my contacts got deleted and it didn't go to trash. 😔
Please help.

Thanks 😊

It is 100% a Samsung problem, it kept happening with my fold 2, when I changed to another device it stoped. Now I've got a fold 5 and surprise surprise it's started again

Funny, as it has never happened to me on any Samsung device since the Skyrocket.

If you aren't syncing your Contacts with Google, sounds like you should.

IF.. it was a Samsung problem, there'd be hundreds of posts about it here, never mind internationally, there'd be, tens of thousands of people posting about it.

Same problem.

I understood that the "google play services" is doing something with my contacts.( while i single tapped on deleted contacts i saw the wrotten information about that)

So i went to setting>apps>google play services>permission> contacts>don't allow

And finally it worked!!!🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Also i faced a message that some featured may be limited on google play services, i don't know which features, but nothing seriousely happened after banning gpservices of contacts.

Hope to be helpfull🌹🌹

Here's a snapshot of what Play Services actually are for. They would be extremely unlikely to have anything to do with your Contacts.

I have been extremely frustrated these last few months due to this contacts-being-deleted issue.

Your post made sense, so I have followed your instructions.

Let's see if it works.

If it does, I will be eternally grateful. 😊😊

Yes!  Thank you for the useful information.  I wish the sniping would just be deleted and answers to the question left in this search.

After choosing "don't allow" for Google Play Services (in permissions), I was able to go to the contacts being deleted and restore them.  They stayed restored whereas before they just kept getting put back in trash.  Your advice was clear and I appreciate it very much!

I trued many other options from YouTube and from Samsung Chat. But as soon I stop Contacts permission for Google Play Services, it stopped deleting the contacts. Otherwise it was deleting half of contacts, as soon as I restore it starts deleting again. Thanks for sharing.

I have the same issue on Note20 ultra. I found more than 250 contacts in the Bin which I had never deleted manually.
If someone has found a solution to this, please share. This is so frustrating whoever is causing this whether Samsung or Google. 🥺
