I'd like to know how my S21U screen can stay on just for a certain apps of my choosing? I have the 'keep screen on while viewing' on in the motions and gesture settings but its still turned off in several occasions. Any solution?

PS: I'd rather have Samsung build-in features rather than installing a separate apps.

Going back a few Android versions, there used to be a way to select individual apps to keep the screen on.

Unfortunately* it's looking like your only option is to use a 3rd party app & the ones I saw don't have great ratings on the Play Store. 😕

*Unfortunately - NOT "unfair".

Hi, Try the below steps to increase the screen time out. Open Settings on the device Scroll down and Select Advanced features.

Maybe use Bixby routine. Set it up that when the app is open, screen time out to 10 minutes? Not the best solution I take it, but can't think of anything else you can try.

One useful way is to use modes, trigger or "if" will be the app, then will be screen time out.

You can choose the maximum time
