I'm using an S24 Ultra. I wanted to start fresh and factory reset my phone, but I noticed that ever since I did a factory reset, I have a new feature called remote management. Which I've never had before... Is that normal? Also, I've checked for software updates for both the Google Play system update and the Samsung one, and they both say up to date. I feel bad that I keep bothering people here with silly questions, but you guys are nice and a lot more helpful than contacting support.

This is simply a tool for support to help you out and control your phone remotely if you need them to help you troubleshoot an issue with the software. Don't worry about it because when you need help you can contact Samsung and authorize a service personnel to control your phone remotely at the comfort of you sitting at home while resolving your issue.1745263819266.jpg

That looks like something you'd have on a device that was owned / administered by someone else.. ie: Employer provided device?

No. I've bought it myself (well im paying it off through my carrier) but I never had it until I reset my phone

When I click on it it says something about connecting to a customer service person to help me. But I've never had it before which is odd

Oh, that looks like you opened the Samsung Members app & Clicked on Support > Remote Management, which would allow Samsung tech support to access your device.

Did you contact Samsung's Canadian Customer Support Chat?

That's what they would use to access & diagnose / help you with issues on your device.

Or did you download Samsung's Smart Tutor from the Galaxy Store?
