At your ⚠️OWN RISK⚠️

Here's a link to the XDA Thread for One UI Beta V5.0.

You need to have Patched Odin to Flash the ⚠️⚠️⚠️ *NON*⚠️⚠️⚠️ Beta FIRST, because your Device must be on the US Firmware FIRST!!

You should also Download the Current **CANADIAN** Firmware for your device, as you'll need it to come back to get the Canadian Stable version of One UI V5.0.

The S22 Ultra is not the same as any other S22 US Series, SO MAKE SURE you Download & Install the correct version for your device.

You'll also need Platform-Tools & Samsung's USB Drivers installed on your computer, as in order to install the Beta Firmware, you have to adb sideload it to your phone.

Once you are on the Betas, you'll have to Flash the Canadian CSC with Odin, in order to get VoLTE & WiFi Calling (Carrier items) & some may not work on the Betas.

Let me know if I should stop typing & likely wasting my time.. (Not directed at anyone in particular, but from experience, many people just don't bother with the Betas, when they see that it's not the same as installing an app from the Play Store.

I along with @CHMultimedia have previously posted either the instructions or links to instructions off of Samsung Members Canada.

It's actually not very complicated, but you DO need to know what you are doing.

The Beta for your particular device, may or may not be available just yet.

Ya unfortunately Canada is still left out of the beta program, if you has a u.s carrier and phone then I believe you can sign up for it, but if you got your phone here in Canada and your carrier is Canadian, you can't get it, there's a thread here somewhere on how you could go about downloading and installing it as I'm sure it's the same steps as it was for android 12 but I could be wrong

It's not the Canadian Carriers that are preventing you from getting Betas... It's Samsung Canada.

Besides, there's only around 7 countries worldwide who participate in the Betas.

But as has already been stated, if you want to run the Betas, then you can Flash the CORRECT US Betas for your device.

It's a little more complicated than just getting it as an OTA, but it can be done.

It's actually Roger's they get all the phones first in Canada, and it's government regulations and privacy that causes a delay

What?

From your post it seems that you are saying that Rogers has something to do with Samsung Canada not participating in the Betas?

If that's indeed what you mean, Rogers has nothing to do with Samsung Canada's absence from the Betas.

The decision is solely Samsung's.

I've previously posted a link to @Steve01 (Samsung Canada Manager) and here it is again, along with a couple screen shots from the Thread.

Samsung Canada doesn't "rely" on Rogers for distribution lol.

Samsung Canada has multiple distribution channels. Carriers are just one, and there's more than just Rogers.

So, yeah Samsung does what it wants, regardless of what Rogers thinks.

What "known" issue?

There's a really good and longtime user called @CHmultimedia who creates a whole guide on how to flash the beta correctly. When it's out, he'll most likely post about it. I can post the link to his website if needed.
