I have the s22 plus and the camera is great for everything else except for white paper with words on them.... it's all blurry and stuff no matter what.

i dont know how to describe, but it's all blurry around the sides idk why... how do i fix it?
I had this problem with my last samsung A50, but i assumed it was just because the phone was bad in general.
does anyone else have this problem??

I own the S21 Ultra and have experienced the same issue.
I would recommend holding the camera straight and steady instead of an angle over the paper with words on it and also make sure the paper is on a flat surface such as a table. That way the pictures shouldn't come out blurry.

It is because of the sensor size. The bigger the megapixel count, the less sharp it'll be around the subject you are focusing on. It is the natural bokeh effect of big sensor sizes.

My advice is that you move backwards a bit and actually use the zoom lens.

You'll see better results.

Use the option «scan document» or the app «Adobe Scan». And remember a phone is not a scanner.

If your taking pictures of white papers with black writing on it, I personally recommend the Adobe PDF scanner. It's great for taking pictures of documents instead of the normal camera.

Thank you everyone, Hi Cindylouwho, please try the suggestions from others to take the pictures of the documents.
