Everytime i open the app it says my device is rooted. I never installed any custom firmware, nor modified my s8+ in any way. I also noticed samsung health and pay wont work anymore. Anyone with similar experience?

I have the same problem but mine says 0×1, do you know how to solve this issue? I used root checkers and it days my device is not rooted but with samsung apps it says it is, I'm desperately in need of using those apps

0x0 means your device was never tempered. It shouldn't give you that error. At this point I would say download new and latest firmware and flash it on your phone.

If it is 0x1 also your solution works....?

I tried to root but not done. Now my Samsung pass not working.

I tried flash with Odin but same problem. Old help me.

the attempt is sometimes enough to trigger the KNOX.

0x1 means it's marked as tempered so samsung health samsung pass or samsung pay will no longer work on your phone.

Before you Download the Firmware & Flash it with Odin - You could try this - Boot into Recovery - Wipe Cache x 2 - Factory Reset x 2
Boot & Don't restore ANYTHING!

Update Galaxy apps & Samsung Pass - Install Samsung Health & update - Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache ONLY - Test Samsung Pass & Samsung Health...

If you decide to Download & Flash the Firmware with Odin - BEFORE you Flash the Firmware - Boot into Recovery Wipe Cache - Factory Reset & Power Off IMMEDIATELY after the Factory Reset - DO NOT Reboot after the Factory Reset - POWER OFF!

When you are ready to Flash the Firmware - DO NO POWER ON - Boot DIRECTLY INTO DOWNLOAD MODE & then Flash the Firmware...

If you want me to know that you replied - Either Tag me (@shaggyskunk1) or click on the "reply" to my post - Otherwise I won't know unless I check 😉🐧

You can Download Odin v3.13.3

from here:

You can Download Frija (Fast Firmware Download app - Run as Administrator)

Once you have downloaded before both zips to your computer - Make a Folder for Flashing on your Windows desktop - Extract both zips to the new Folder.

Frija zip:

Remember to Run BOTH Frija & Odin as Administrator! ⚠️⚠️⚠️

Hey Shaggy,

I have rooted my S9+ and again flashed it with the process you mentioned, after 2 times flashing I get the same error for my Samsung pass and S-health, So do you have any idea when you have knox 0*1?
