id say up till last update, when i played anything on spotify or YouTube. i ONLY had the media.bar with the pause, next, rewind, on lockscreen AND drop down. Normal. how i like it (2nd image)

Now this dumb update, it keeps showing this half assed donkey crap where i cant pick next and for whatever reason it keeps popping up as last songs i played when i had spotify closed but it's also a YouTube thing.
wtf

Hey FTI4,

I can reproduced your problem.

You can do this to fix it.

Open Settings → Apps → Spotity → Notifications

Enable the playback. All buttons should be appear again.

Hi FTI4,

Try do a Wipe Cache Partition in Recovery mode since you have done an update recently.

I tested my Spotify and Samsung Music, they all have next track, pause and play. My phone Note20 Ultra / OneUI 3.1 / April security patch.

Hi, Please try the wipe cache partition as suggested by Tallman and write back to us if the issue still persists. Please try performing the wipe cache partition by following the instruction below and check if the issue got resolved. Turn off the device. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby / Power key. When the Android logo displays, release both keys. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight "Wipe cache partition". Press Bixby / Power key to select. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Bixby / Power key to select. When the process is complete, the Reboot system now is highlighted. Press the Bixby / Power key to restart the device.

Thanks for the response, Tallman.
