Visual Voicemail - Read Voicemails

Im reading on Google that I should be able to read my voicemails instead of having to listen to them outloud in Visual Voicemail. However, when I click the text message icon on the voicemail, it just takes me to sending that number a text message. 

Im on an S22 5G running Android 12 and visual voicemail is version 16.1.00.35 all are up to date

I think that it's only kinda possible with Google Voice, and that's not the same as your Carrier's voice mail.

Rogers USED to have Visual Voice Mail, but it's been a few years since it was available.

There may be some "premium" voice mail service from your Carrier, depends on whether it is available, and if you're prepared to pay for it, if it is.

Well it's the Android Visual Voicemail and yes I have it through Telus. Perhaps I shall ask them if it's a feature I need to add on or something. Thank you.

Hi, Canadian carriers do not support visual voicemail, you can check with carrier on its availability.

Actually yes they do because I'm using visual voicemail and I have been for at least the last 6 months and I'm in Canada I just wanted to know if there was a way to read my voicemails instead of having to listen to them but the Visual Voicemail app works and my voicemails go to it and I can go into it and I can delete them and I can listen to them and I can see what I need to see from them so yes Canadian carriers do support visual voicemail.
