Anyone here have one, and is it worth buying for $120 CAD (before tax).

What features does it have aside from the obvious health/fitness features?

Is the step counter more accurate than my phone for example?

And how does the sleep counter work? I use that on my phone as well but I'm not sure how accurate it is.

And the heart rate monitor, is it more accurate than the one on my S10 for example?

I have a gear fit 2 not a bad little smart watch. it took me a couple of days to really optimize my power settings, and now generally I can get 2 days out of the battery. I find the step counter on the watch is pretty good. the sleep counterworks by logging how much Motion it detects and heart rate when you were sleeping. the watch links up to your phone using bluetooth and every so often it will sync with your Samsung Health app or if you want to manually sync you can just open up your health app and it should sync automatically.

I know that I don't even use my Gear Fit 2 to its full capabilities and it has a number of other features that would just take a long time to list in this post. the bottom line is I think it would be a worthy purchase for you and I can say that you will likely not be disappointed.

The Gear Fit2 is better than the Galaxy Fit/e. The Galaxy Fit/e are more limited. I also tried a Fit2 and it was actually very cool

Gear Fit 2 is too bulky and basically impossible to find in Canada.

Hey @Yoshisaur9,

I think I can chime in on this one! I personally have a Galaxy Fit and love it 😊

I would say the step counter is fairly accurate, definitely better than the tracker on your phone since it follows you everywhere you go. Since I'm at a desk all day, I also like that it reminds me when I've been inactive for an hour or more.

The sleep counter monitors your heart rate to track your sleep phases, which I found really interesting! It even picks up any naps I take and adds them to the total "sleep count" for the day.

I can't speak too much to the heart rate monitor, but it seems to perform similarly to the Fitbit Alta HR I had previously.

Hopefully this helps!

I have the Gear Fit 2 and have been using it for over a year. They updated it to allow for continuous heart rate monitoring late last year. I use the timer function and can control Spotify while connected via Bluetooth while at work. The battery life has been pretty good. I don't wear it to bed anymore, but if I turn it off at night and don't have Bluetooth connected throughout the day, I can get 2.5 days without charging. At least it tracks the info and I can connect to sync the data every day.
