No Pop-up Or Sound Notification on Emails

 All of a sudden, I no longer receive sound or pop-up notifications on my A52 5G when I'm getting emails.

 When I click on the Email icon ... The email comes thru (still with no notification). 

 Can someone tell me how to correct this?

Fisrt off, long press your email icon -> click the "i" -> Notifications -> Notifications categories

Click on New Email

Do you have Notification allow and you have sound assigned?

I did as you suggested. Notifications are allowed and sound assigned. I still have the same problem.

Did you try a simple Reboot?

Did you inadvertently Toggle ON Do Not Disturb?

You can check in Settings > Notifications to see if you accidentally turned off Notifications for your email?

Did reboot and checked the DO NOT DISTURB ... It is not on. I still have the same issue.

What email app are you using? 

Samsung's, Gmail?

Regular Samsung Email ... NOT Gmail.

Following up on what @Tallman said, if you have these Notification Settings for Samsung email, you should be receiving Notifications. 

If you aren't, then you could try Booting into Recovery & Wiping Cache.. although it really does not make sense that you are not receiving Notifications. 

 

 

Instructions on how to Wipe Cache:

1) Turn off the device.

2) Press and hold the Volume Up key and the spower button.

3) When the Android logo displays, release all keys.

4) Press the Volume down key to navigate and select "Wipe cache partition".

5) Press Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, it will default back to the Recovery Menu, Select Reboot System.

6) Press the Power key to restart the device.

I did exactly as per these instructions. However, the email (from my wife ... beside me) did not come thru until I clicked on the email icon. The email then came thru ... but with no sound.
Should I go back to where I purchased the 'phone?

Can you check if your email sync settings is set to Auto? See my scrednshot.

If you need to click the email app to accept the email, which means you are not using Push email or check email every few minutes.
